River Rafting is an amazing and unique way to see many of Alaska’s wild places, and Great Alaska offers guided rafting on a number of our itineraries. Moderate and scenic Bald Eagle Floats (with a touch of whitewater) on the upper Kenai River and Kenai National Wildlife refuge- or class 4 and even 5 white water rafting on the world famous 6 mile canyon is included on our Kenai Multisport Adventure. All whitewater rafting is serious and we recommend adults only in good physical condition opt for this trip.
Great Alaska adventures offers whitewater rafting as part of our all inclusive adventures, and only on our Kenai Multi Sport Adventure. Designed for active adults or teenagers, the Multi Sport offers whitewater rafting, Mountain biking, Zip lining, active wilderness hiking and kayaking or paddle boarding. We utilze an experienced operator exclusively, who has been on the river for many years. Alaskan whitewater is a full time gig, and we are happy to utilize their expertise for our clients (and our) benefit!
Whitewater rafting on 6 mile creek is a strenuous activity and requires a swim test and minimum age/condition level. Ask your adventure expert if you have any other questions about our amazing whitewater rafting, or any of our other rafting, fishing or bear viewing activities.
Rafting is such an amazing way to experience the Alaskan landscape and wildlife. With no motors, we can silently approach areas and we are often rewarded with amazing sightings of everything from Moose to Brown Bear to Wood Ducks and Trumpeter Swans.
